The Battle of Richmond Reenactment

Generally on the last week of August each year, the Battle of Richmond Association sponsors their annual Battle of Richmond Civil War Reenactment. Hundreds of reenactors and living historians come from numerous states to give visitors just a little taste of what life was like in the 1860s.

Although the highlight of the event is a Civil War battle reenactment, visitors can also experience abundant living history demonstrations and exhibits, ranging from Civil War era medical displays, cavalry demonstrations, food from the period, and more.

Mark your calendars now for the last week of August and join us for the Battle of Richmond Civil War Reenactment, and checkout our "News" page to find other events.

**If the last weekend of August is Labor Day weekend, our event will be held a week prior.
